Hagar Bareket

Hagar Bareket, an exceptionally talented illustrator and designer, passed away at 27, on Rosh Ha’Shana 2020. She graduated with honours from the department of visual communication at Shenkar College in 2019, showcasing and developing her personal interest in the topics of home, family, womanhood, and nature. In her memory, the Hagar Bareket Foundation was founded, promoting excellency in the local fields of illustration and design as well as innovative, forward-thinking creation, through scholarships, awards, and sponsorships to special exhibitions and art initiatives in Israel. All profits from sales of Hagar’s works help promote and encourage new local works of illustration and design.
